Position Title: Breaker Technician(Assembly Support)
Projected Start Date: August
Location: Cedar Rapids IA 52404

Performs all sub-assembly, final assembly, and SPC checks. Performs magnetic, thermal calibration, check test, and SPC checks on circuit breakers.
Major Responsibilities
• Verify each job has an approved first piece sample at the station prior to any production.
• Follow process controls and perform SPC checks as work instructions and Bill of material indicate.
• Verify calibration on gages are current prior to using them for SPC quality checks.
• Record any required documentation such as SPC checks, Scrap, Kan ban tags, and SAP.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment. (5S)

Job Specifications
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Prefer one year of production assembly work.
Skills / Necessary to perform essential functions
• Ability to read and understand written materials including production and inspection procedures.
• Ability to interpret simple X bar R charts
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to use a calculator and computer terminal
Physical Demands Necessary to perform essential functions
• Perform light work, lifting objects up to 26 lbs
• Dexterity to assemble small parts
• Coordination to operator foot pedals while assembly parts with hands
• Ability to either stand or sit for 8 hours at a work station
• Ability to work with others in a team environment
Work environment
• Ability to tolerate a variety of climates within the work environment
• Ability to tolerate PPE for work environment
• Adheres to factory regulations and safety rules
• Ability to follow directions
