Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project:

The Business Analyst role is a position within the ITSS Mobile Management team that will focus delivering an exceptional experience for end users while also improving the success of mobile management through analysis, discovering and solving real world problems, standardizing best practices, and optimizing cost and efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have a broad skillset on managing and normalizing disparate data sets in a consistently changing environment, ability to adhere to strict processing guidelines, and share a process improvement mindset. The role will include daily management tasks, optimization through analysis, requirements gathering, process documentation, and regular engagement with stakeholders, end-users, and leadership. A key component of the role is to identify process and system improvement opportunities by monitoring existing metrics, analyzing data, and partnering with internal teams.

The person in this position is required to work in a team environment, under limited supervision and reports to the ITSS Mobile Management Leader.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform daily mobile management tasks, engage with end-users, and solve for unique mobile scenarios.
• Draft and publish work process documentation.
• Acquire, normalize, import, and manage recurring data files from various sources.
• Extract metrics for optimization and executive summaries
• Define business and technical requirements based on business problems.
• Perform requirement gathering sessions to gather information from stakeholders.
• Gather the requirements from partners and translate them into technical requirements.
• Perform GAP analysis to determine if business requirements are being met
• Collaborate with business stakeholders on how they can execute their strategies successfully using data
• Build and maintain clean, reliable, and scalable dashboards
• Develop customized business strategies that are aligned with corporate strategic objectives.
• Actively try to identify areas of improvement and conceptualize methods on how to be more efficient
• Perform rigorous analyses on large, complex data sets and provide strategic insights, based upon findings to non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications
• 2+ years working experience, prior data analytics experience a plus
• 1+ years of work experience in the technology sector
• Basic understanding of Sharepoint
• Experience with the applications in the Microsoft Suite. In particular advanced formula creation, data cleaning, pivot tables, and other necessary functions in Excel.
• Understanding of basic data management (normalization, accuracy, formatting) with an understanding of how to apply data to communications and business strategy problems
• Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, slide & data presentations, and participating in working meetings
• Excellent problem-framing, problem-solving and project management skills, willingness to be flexible and adapt to change
• Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment, comfortable dealing with ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience working with SQL/Access
• Prior experience working with reporting and dashboard tools (Power BI/Tableau)
• Prior experience working on long-term projects
• Prior experience working in large enterprises
• Prior experience creating process documentation
• Prior experience creating workflows and diagrams (Visio)
