Job Title: Customer Service Representative (Open Enrollment)
Duration: 2+ Months, Starting September 21st
Location: Urbandale, IA 50398 (Will work virtually from home)
Pay Rate: $16/hr

Department Overview
· Large Market is a department that handles incoming calls from participants who need to enroll in Employer sponsored benefits (health, dental, vision, life insurance) as well as questions with regard to pension plans their employers may offer.
· We also support ongoing benefit questions throughout the year

Description:
The Customer Service Representative demonstrates detailed knowledge of the clients’ benefit plans to ensure the maximum level of service when assisting with enrollments and other inquiries.
This position requires that the representative have quiet home office space, as this is a work from home position. The representative needs to have critical thinking skills, strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to convey ownership. The position requires the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

o Respond to customer inquiries regarding benefits that Companies offers to their employees
o Assist plan participant with enrolling in their employer benefits
o Ensure all communications and transactions with the call center are properly documented in appropriate systems
o Perform research as needed to respond to complex customer inquiries
o Strong customer service skills
o Attention to detail is critical
o Identify trends and escalate appropriately
o Must be able to use multiple systems while communicating effectively over the phone

Technical Skills:
o Strong PC skills – ability to navigate several applications at once
o Excel, Word

Professional Skills:
o Communication – written and verbal
o Active listening
o Procedure documentation
o Sense of urgency
o Problem solving

Education:
o College degree preferred
o Customer service experience preferred
