Position Summary:

• Client is driving a global program to increase the quality of its product data.
• As part of this initiative we are deploying a new system; processes and resetting the data quality of all of our packaging materials in every manufacturing location globally.

This Role Will Have Two Main Functions:
• To support our Global Functional expert to evaluate ‘cleansed’ data sets to look for data duplication and to ensure that the data set meets our data quality expectations.
• In addition, as your knowledge grows, to take a larger role in supporting the functional expert by helping to answer data related questions and undertake tasks on the expert''s behalf.
• Where capacity exists to take on more activities, to get involved in other project-based activities to help move the data cleansing activities forwards.
• Ideally these will be all in the packaging domain, but depending on need from the business and desire from the candidate to increase that scope beyond packaging to printed packaging data and final product data (traded units).

Key Responsibilities:
• Validate packs materials specification data accuracy.
• Facilitate the closure of data gaps based on business rules and with project functional experts.
• Assist Global Expert with other data, process or system development/testing activities.
• Prepare supporting docs for raw and packs materials, reference specs.
• Assist with the preparation of data for loading within projects.
• Help problem solve data related issues by working with functional experts and other team members.

Context and Scope:
• The analyst will be expected to spend time learning the data attributes required for factories to effectively use the materials.
• With this knowledge to validate data submitted by the projects, highlighting potential issues and either resolving them with the project team, or escalating to the Packaging Expert for clarification.
• Where possible to help load and maintain some data sets within our specification tool.
• With understanding of the data attributes, help answer questions from project teams.

• Bachelor''s degree in preferably related to Packaging Technology/Engineering; Engineering or Food science.
• Fluent in English (writing and speaking).
• Very strong eye for detail and understanding the importance of correct specifications.
• Ability to handle data fixes across different systems/databases.
• Being able to work independent and take initiative – strong ability to work in a virtual environment across multiple Time ones.
• Experience with product Lifecycle Management System.
• Proficiency in Microsoft excel.
• Flexibility to adapt to working hours of a truly global team.
