Material Data Specialist
Must have Prior Bayer Crop Science or other Crop Science master data experience. Must have an understanding of Bayer business, what Bayer products/materials look like, who Bayer customers are, and some basis of knowledge of IRD and SAP.

Main Purpose –
? Manage Material Master Data for Crop Protection, Seed Growth, Environmental Science, Row Crops, and Licensing businesses to support Commercial, Product Supply, Finance and Global business processes for daily operational and project related purposes
Key Tasks & Responsibilities –
? Accountable for the creation & maintenance of material master data in SAP and ancillary systems (IRD, etc) and APO (Advanced Planner and Optimizer) and other planning systems to ensure the availability of timely, accurate, high quality material master data.
? Accountable to proactively identify and resolve material master data related issues
? Identify best practices and process improvements based on investigation/analysis and solicited feedback.
? Incorporate process changes into appropriate audit and training materials
? Coordinate with IT support for enhancements and production support issues
? Participate on or manage small material master data projects within and outside the team.
? Maintain key operational metrics; timeliness and accuracy to support operational excellence and a strong internal control environment.
Key Working Relations –
? Reports to North America Material Data Lead. Key working relationships with: the demand and supply planners and leads; plants contacts; the NA product and marketing organization; regional finance representatives; regional and global IT; and regional Material Master Data counterparts
Qualifications & Competencies –
? Bachelor''s Degree
? Experience in ERP data governance, data management or working with material or supply chain data preferred
? Detail oriented and highly focused on delivering results
? Proactive problem solving skills with ability to identify, analyze, and interpret data
? Effective and detailed oral and written communication and listening skills
? Fast learner; seeks to understand processes
