There is a dedicated Security team, so this is NOT a Security Engineer, but someone who can follow a road map or understands security best practices is the target. These roles in essence are for a sold Engineer who has experience in a data environment (need just a strong data warehousing background. Like has worked with data warehouses and data lakes in their experience). The below actual job description may read to senior, but that is really to give an idea of what the position could turn into down the road.
This role could convert to an FTE. After COVID the expectation would be to sit onsite in Dover. Will be WFH during COVID
Overall this position will be 80% developing while incorporating security standards and protocols and maybe 20% designing secure solutions. These workers need to be able to develop, test, and QA their own work and others on the same squad. Experience with AWS is preferred cloud experience.
