Financial Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Worker will start remotely, ultimately move onsite when normal operations resume

WORK HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

The Financial Management team supports the financial tracking and reporting for the Loyalty & Personalization team. Unlike other financial roles, this Financial Analyst will be introduced to Customer Strategy and Program Execution and work closely with business partners to manage their operating expenses and vendor funding. The candidate must possess skills in decision making, problem solving, project management and oral/written communication. They must have the ability to accumulate, organize, analyze and report relevant financial data to leadership.

The primary responsibilities of the Financial Analyst role include:

• Process and track all vendor contracts, projects, and invoices between multiple tools and sources
• Work closely across business partners and departments for contract and event information
• Partner with accounting on expense submissions and reconciliation of monthly accrual reports
• Run queries and update reporting utilizing PeopleSoft, S4 (Foire) and Excel
• Run weekly and monthly reporting of coupon redemptions with variance analysis utilizing Teradata SQL Assistant
• Support monthly funding reconciliation, uploads, reporting and communications (leveraging Salesforce tools and reports)
• Maintain trend reports and develop forecasting metrics
• Provide additional project support and deliverables to support growth initiatives
• Ability to multi-task several concurrent requests with a sense of urgency
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with the ability to mitigate potential issues before they happen

REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (accounting, finance, mathematics)
3+ years of related experience in a financial role
Advanced MS Office specifically Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excel functions will be tested such as: SUMIF(S), COUNTIF(S), VLOOKUP
