Location: Plano, TX
Duration: 12+ months


• Client is seeking an experienced candidate in Software & Hardware asset management.
• This position will oversee the governance framework with respect to control, compliance, and business objectives as it pertains to IT asset management.
• The candidate will oversee, coordinate, and manage multiple service providers to execute day to day activities.
• The successful candidate will be comfortable working closely with Team Members and Business Partners at all levels from technical administrators to business leadership.


• Oversees the day-to-day management and administration with multiple service providers executing processes and procedures around the IT Asset Management lifecycle.
• This position will oversee the execution and governance of a highly accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• Collaborate with all suppliers and team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency of the inputs and outputs of the asset tracking system
• Implements, and enforces IT Asset Management processes, policies and standards, work instructions and activities in compliance with the information technology infrastructure library framework within the ServiceNow.
• Ensures that standardized methods and procedures are used for identifying, recording, maintaining, reporting on, and verifying IT asset configurations, associated documentation and relationships to dependent IT activities
• Utilizes and help improve appropriate frameworks, processes and standards to be applied to the lifecycle of assets. Reviews, identifies and improves areas of deficiency, as well as leads the coordination and implementation of agreed upon changes to the process
• Work with finance, internal/external audit teams, procurement, and other departments to ensure that assets, entitlements, and expenses is efficiently tracked.

Must Haves:

• ServiceNow experience a must
• SAM Pro experience a plus
• Self-starter, proactive, positive, and enjoy planning and solving problems in a complex and unpredictable work environment.
• Strong organizational skills including scheduling, meeting coordination, and document management
• Experience managing vendors and contracts
• High attention to detail and understanding around the Software/Hardware Asset management lifecycle
• Experienced and seasoned within Office365, including building spreadsheets, tables, reports, and other data driven tasks
• Ability to respond quickly to a rapidly changing environment

Preferred/ Nice-to-haves:

• BS in Computer Science or business administration (preferred)
• Certification in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management and/or ITIL (Preferred)
