Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: San Francisco, CA 94107
Duration: 6+ months, potential to go permanent
Schedule: Shift 1; M-F (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

• Represents the interests of the Project Management on site to the customer, regulatory authorities, and consultants.
• Coordinates, communicates and maintains all dates and information from project site to ensure an accurate, on schedule, and optimized supply system.
• Tracks information regarding disposition of goods during transport and maintains current status of materials to create options for alternative actions by informing involved parties in a timely manner.
• Creates deficiency and excess reports regarding material and product availability based on the needs of the customer supply concept in order to provide an accurate data base.
• Documents and processes complaints or transport damages with responsible partners (Project Logistics Manager, Project Purchase, Insurance) to secure any recourse claims and to take further measures.
• Acts as the interface to involved external logistics providers on project site and coordinates their activities, ensuring cost efficient and seamless operations.
• Initiates and coordinates the startup, operation, and closeout of the logistic infrastructure and the equipment on the building site to guarantee a compliant, cost-efficient, and fluid site logistics process.
• Supports the Project Logistics Manager with the development, calculation, and implementation of logistics contingency measures during short-term variances from the planned supply concept to ensure an optimized supply related to the current conditions.
• Supports the Project Logistic Manager with the concluding project evaluation and advancement of the project-specific process of customer supply to ensure high transparency over the whole supply process in the project and to gain input for the enhancement of future projects which are related to the customer supply.
• Reports to the project logistics manager and may lead own supply chain personnel on project site. Daily activities include shipping and receiving parts for repair, maintaining parts status updates in Salesforce, maintaining on site inventory, and tracking lead times for repair process items.

Education Requirements:
• High School Diploma
