Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM to 5PM

Mortgage Loan Specialist

2 years of recent mortgage experience in a processor or closer role.
Comfortable with working with technology.
Attention to detail and willingness to dig into an issue and research.
Not a check the box function. Not every task/loan will be the same.
Teammate will be assigned a list of "tasks" each morning.
Go into the Empower system and look up the loan the task is tied to.
Tasks will be associated with a fee increase. Determine if fee is valid.
This could involve research; either by reading through comments in system and navigating through multiple screens to reaching out to the processor, closer or loan officer.
This could be done via e-mail but could possibly be on the phone as well. After determining if a fee is valid may have to generate disclosures as well.
The main role of the Branch Review team is to review the loan file. The Branch Review Specialist uses a PostClosing Checklist for reviewing all Conventional loans within 60 days of the Loan Closing Date. The reviewer verifies the accuracy and completeness of information to meet investor requirements. A completed checklist is uploaded into the GDR. The amount of time allowed for Branch Review processes
