Information Risk Consultant – Mastery
Contract: 5+ months (Potential RTH.)
Location: Springfield, MA 01111
Notes: Phone interviews will be conducted. The candidate will work remotely until client can return to the office. (Till Q1 2021)

Provide Center of Excellence and Expertise for client's Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Environments befitting of Fortune 100 company for whom Security reputation and ratings are paramount in maintaining and attracting new business opportunities. Engineer PKI environment to ensure that our host technology is available 24x7 and that contingency plans are in place. Ensure that our 6000+ SSL Certificates are maintained immaculately through Renewal and Installation process, utilizing automation opportunities when available and offering revocation options as part of decommissioning practices. Working with Architecture and fellow Engineering teams to develop new technologies around Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols to enable clientBusiness partners to mature their Corporate strategies and objectives. Provide framework for Governance Security Standards for client Enterprise Information Risk Management PKI policies.
High-level Responsibilities:
• Manages projects and works within own discipline independently from a DevOps perspective through development, testing and Go-live stages.
• Ensures pro-active approach in research and development to ensure client stay ahead of industry trends and requirements within their PKI set-up.
• Creates and maintains client Governance Security standards in association with PKI policies.
• Partners with Architecture teams to help identify and prepare TLS requirements around new and existing technologies.
• Counsels fellow Engineering teams in developing TLS protocols and objectives around various tools and platforms both new and existing.
• Provides direction and insight to Application teams and Business partners the TLS options around new and existing software programmes.
• Advises HelpDesk (Level 1) and Middleware Analytics teams (Level 2) as Subject Matter Expert to advise them on TLS consultancy and act as escalation point of contact in emergencies.
• Consults and collaborates with vendor partners to ensure client financial transactions are rigorously protected and secure.
• Serves as a Level 3 Engineering Expert to resolve and advise on changes, incidents and enhancements.
• Provides Root Cause analysis collaborating with Level 4 vendor support when appropriate to ensure improvements to existing programs, and procedures.
Responsible for providing practical suggestions for improving work processes in own area through development, testing and documentation maintenance.
Actively contributes to achievement of work group goals, both as a functional Lead and Consultant.
• Designs, delivers and consults engineering MassMutual’s PKI Environment in conjunction with Organizational requirements, industry standards and Security demands.
• Negotiates with vendors on behalf of MassMutual to enforce our PKI policies are strictly adhered to.
• Advises Enterprise Information Risk Management and Cyber Intelligence Unit departments with regards to MassMutual’s Security ratings and reputation scores, in conjunction with TLS Certificates and Configuration security assurances reviews.
• Performs technical planning, system integration, certificate verification and validate, cost and risk analysis, supportability and effectiveness for a number of systems.
• Configures and Administers Hardware Security Modules to manage MassMutual’s Private Keys.
• Technically contributes to the development and sustainment of our internal Active Directory Certificate Services.
• Continuously develops knowledge and understanding around Industry standards, protocols, automation opportunities and scripting skills.

Bachelors Degree
An individual should have a minimum of 5 years of related experience in IT, preferably Security and essentially working on the following platforms that host the vast majority of MassMutual’s SSL Certificates:
