Description: Technical Designer

Top 3-5 Daily Responsibilities:
· Develops and documents the technical design for the integration and implementation of complex systems and applications
· Acts as a liaison between the business and technical staff, including development staff and other KPIT entities such as Quality Assurance, IT Operations, Release Management and Environment Management
· Develops solution alternatives, high-level designs, functional specifications and estimates that address KP''s overall corporate and business strategies.
· Participates in ideation, concept and definition phases of projects, and remains involved thereafter to ensure alignment with designed and accepted solutions through development, testing, implementation and support
· Impact Analysis and Cost Estimation of system designs, product releases, system remediation or new enterprise-wide initiatives or initiatives impacting production systems
· Work with Business partners and project teams to define and document requirements and groom user stories


Must Have Skills:


· Experience in the Healthcare industry/domain
· Experience in developing requirements for complex system integrations by partnering with stake holders, vendors, appropriate IT teams (for example Application Delivery, Architecture)
· Understand and document As-Is and To-Be status for interfaces
· Impact analysis of requirements on upstream and downstream solution components
· Coordination of input from regional groups to guide, gather and confirm regional configuration needs to meet business work flows
· Experience working closely with various teams in developing effective deployment and rollout strategy
· Identify and manage risks and issues, including the development and implementation of appropriate mitigation actions
· Proficient with Agile and Scrum and familiar with JIRA and Confluence
· Design solutions across middleware platforms
· Proficient with Web Services (SOAP, REST)
· Hands-on Proficiency with Java and Java-related technology
· Experience with Middleware technology - Data Power, Apigee,
· Experience with Security implementation - LDAP, Active Directory Authentication/Authorization
· Proficient with using data or flow modeling tools (e.g. MS Visio) to represent system architecture and functionality

Nice to have
· Agile process certification such as product owner/product manager certification
· Familiarity with CRM (MS Dynamics, Salesforce)
· Familiarity with legacy systems, e.g. Mainframe, Cobol
· Familiarity with DevOps Tools, ELK Stack, Spark/Kafka, Jolokia, etc
· Familiarity with Microsoft development suite
· Experience in handling data translations and data mapping in building integrations

Soft Skills
· Strong collaboration, documentation and presentation skills
· Strong written, oral communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
· Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
