Schedule: Shift 1; M-F

Position Overview:
· The Technical Writer is responsible for creating and editing written documentation necessary to support customer use of Client Mobility products.
· The Technical Writer will assist the department in the accomplishment of the team's goals while maintaining company information in a confidential manner.

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in English/Communications (or a related discipline).
· 5-7 years of technical writing experience.
· Familiarity working in engineering environments.
· Desktop publishing.

Basic Skill Requirements:
· Expert in English writing with emphasis on grammar and clarity.
· Easily interprets engineering drawings and bills of materials.
· Proficiency in working with digital graphics.
· Effortlessly communicates with subject matter experts.
· Writes clear and concise instructions.
· Interprets and organizes technical information and data.
· Utilizes track changes in the editing and review process.
· Easily manages pressing tasks and deadlines.

· Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro) required.
· Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook) and Visio required.
· AutoCAD a plus.

Other requirements:
· Experienced in creating large documents (e.g. operation and product manuals).
· Experience developing and utilizing high-quality graphics, flowcharts, and other digital visuals for use in desktop publishing.
· Strong organizational skills and adherence to deadlines (both independently and within a team).
· Ability to coordinate inputs from multiple individuals.
· Engineering or manufacturing background preferred.
