Job Title: Materials Reliability Engineer
Location: Cupertino, CA
Start Date: 09/28/2020
End Date: 07/23/2021

Materials Reliability Engineer
- Candidate will work closely with engineers, data scientists, software developers, and technicians:
- Evaluating an analysis platform through assessing failure modes on field capture units and tested devices
- Identifying ideal parameters to optimize data fidelity through targeted experimentation
- Communicating project status and user input to cross-functional teams and software developers
- Generating benchmark data sets and partnering with data scientists to identify ideal output parameters
- Working on multiple projects simultaneously, requiring organization and clear communication
Key Qualifications:
- Experience working in an engineering environment
- Strong sense of being a team member and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Strong drive and the motivation to at times do repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail - Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Experience in design of experiments and producing statistically-defendable outcomes
- Combination of interpersonal and detail-oriented skills when working on multiple projects
- Ability to be flexible amidst priority changes in a dynamic and time-sensitive environment
- Some experience with JMP, MATLAB, Python, or other data analysis tools
- Some experience with materials and their failure modes
- Knowledge of software development processes - scrum, sixsigma, etc.
- Proficient with iWork applications such as Keynote, Numbers
- BS or MS degree in engineering, physics, or related science field

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor''s Degree
