St. Louis Tech Firms Team Up to Make IT Happen

ST. LOUIS (December 20, 1999) - Rose International, a St. Louis-based technology solutions and consulting firm, has been selected by Digital Dimensions, Inc. (DDI), a St. Louis tech firm specializing in multimedia digital asset management, as its strategic IT partner. The pairing has Rose deploying a team of professional IT consultants to help DDI with many aspects of their technology, from application architecture to Web presence to IT organization growth planning. Rose's expertise allows DDI to better provide clients with its revolutionary Product Database retrieval and distribution solutions.

The teaming of the two entrepreneurial companies came about through discussions about DDI needs and Rose unique capabilities.  Scott Turner, Rose Vice President - Commercial, and Joe Hartman, DDI President, decided there might be an opportunity for a business relationship between the two companies. DDI is in the business of developing databases to manage the multimedia digital assets of its national client base. Its clients are typically the advertising and marketing departments of major corporations who want to reduce the time and cost of media production and publishing. DDI's Web-enabled image storage and retrieval systems, which are integrated with product description content, provide direct Internet distribution links with publishing vendors and dealer channels. Rose's first opportunity came when DDI needed assistance in developing a Web interface for one of its clients. Since then, Rose has provided database architecture, project management, business analysis, Web application development and network management to keep pace with DDI's visions for the future. Now DDI works with Rose exclusively.

"Rose International has delivered more than promised since day one," Hartman said. "They listen, and have an ability to draw upon their nationwide resources to provide the best solution possible."

Rose International is happy to accept the challenge of keeping up with DDI's IT solution needs. Rose has numerous clients throughout the United States, but sees particular value in working with another local technology firm. "DDI is a St. Louis technology success story, and it's rewarding to be a part of that," said Turner. "While our customer base is now national, we grew up here. St. Louis gave us our first opportunities, and we are fully committed to the St. Louis region for the long term."

Rose's solution teams, like the one used by DDI, are assembled from a database of more than 4,000 multi-skilled IT specialists. The average Rose technical consultant has over 7 years of experience and may be located in any area of the world. One Rose consultant assigned to DDI recently returned to his home in India, while another consultant, from Atlanta, joined the DDI/Rose team. Finding the right person for the job is easy with Rose's global focus.

If the past is any indication, the partnership between DDI and Rose has a long way to grow. DDI is projecting amazing growth in revenue over the next 4 years, while Rose is no slouch in it's own right, growing at about 10,000 percent over the last 5 years. Rose is one of several St. Louis-based companies eligible for the Inc. Magazine 500 in 2000.
